Pasban Karachi President Syed Ashraf Hussain has demanded immediate reinstatement of the deposed Judges and restoration of the judiciary to the pre-November 3 position in the larger national interest.

He said this while addressing a protest demonstration organised by Pasban, Lyari, on Friday. He said Pasban had been striving shoulder to shoulder with the lawyer community to make their long march a big success.

He said that people had brought political leaders to parliament at this critical juncture, but their hopes were being shattered by not reinstating the Judges and remove the PCO Judges.

He said that people would not pardon political leaders if they did not restore the judiciary and rather supported dictatorship. He said it was a testing time for the present political leadership to reinstate all deposed Judges, including Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry, he said.
