| Frug peddlers nabbed, Hashish recovered |

Three suspected drug-pushers were nabbed and narcotics seized from their custody within the jurisdictions of Mehmoodabad Police Station on Friday. The police said 50 rods of Hashish were seized from the possession of an accused, Mohammad Nasir, while his accomplice, Farooq Kangla, managed to flee leaving behind Hashish, weighing up to one kilogram. In another raid, accused Mohammad Tariq, along with 50 rods of Hashish, weighing up to one and a half kilogram of hashish was nabbed, while his associate, Tahir Battukh, fled the scene, leaving behind one-kg of the narcotics. In yet another raid, a police party apprehended accused Abdul Sattar, seizing two and a half kilograms of Hashish from him. His accomplice, Mushtaq alias Puttal, escaped, leaving behind one and a half kilogram of hashish. |
