Judicial Magistrate (JM) Central Hasan Ali Malik raided Khawaja Ajmer Nagri police station on Thursday on the instructions of District and Sessions Judge Syed Ale-e-Maqbool Rizvi and recovered two of the persons illegally detained in the police station.

Abdul Rashid filed an application through Nazir Tanoli that SIO Ashraf Awan took away his relative Safdar Zaman from his residence two days ago and unlawfully detained him at the police station. The SIO demanded Rs0.6 million and threatened to kill his relative. The JM along with the police raided the police station and recovered Zaman and Hasan Durrani who was also detained in the police station. There was no case registered in the Roznamcha of the police station. The JM, ordered the SHO to appear in the court with the written reply on Friday (today) as to why these two persons were detained.
