An employee of the Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) was burnt to death under mysterious circumstances inside his house in the Rizvia police limits, while three bodies were found from various parts of the city. Mohammed Zeeshan, 30, was burnt to death in the Rizvia police limits. The police said that the incident was reported in Usmania Colony and the deceased was an employee of the KESC. The family of the deceased said that they were sleeping at night when Zeeshan went to purchase something. When he entered the gate of his house he lit a cigarette when suddenly a blast occurred and Zeeshan was burnt to death. They further alleged that a Sui gas line which was leaking was near their gate. The deceased was married and leaves behind a wife and daughter. In a separate incident, a labourer was shot dead in the Peerabad police area. The deceased was identified as Ameer Zaib, 22, a resident of Pathan Colony and was a labourer by profession. Zaib was present outside his house, when some unidentified armed men came and sprayed bullets on him due to which he sustained multiple wounds and died on the spot. The police said the deceased was killed due to some enmity. In another case, an unidentified tortured and bullet-riddled body of an unidentified man was found from the Gulshan-i-Maymar police limits. The police said that unidentified criminals after brutally torturing the deceased hit a hard blunt weapon on the deceased’s head and threw the body in the area. A case was reported at the police station. |
