The provincial government will announce policies for betterment in the environment and energy conservation, said the Sindh Minister for Information, Shazia Marri. At a ceremony held here on Monday in connection with the World Earth Day, the Minister was of the view that environmental pollution was a major challenge for the province as well as the country. Moreover, the minister added that everyone should contribute towards the environment by avoiding the wastage of water, electricity and gas. According to the Sindh Minister for Social Welfare, Nargis N.D. Khan, the NGOs will also be included in the drive aimed at bringing about improvements in the environment.
