A meeting was held at the Headquarters of Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, in connection with the law and order in the province. The meeting was attended by DG Ranges, Home Secretary, PPO Sindh, CCPO Karachi, DIGs of three Zones and senior Ranger officers.

The new PPO Sindh and Zonal DIGs were briefed about the law and order situation in the city, performance of the Rangers and its reorganisation plan.

An elaborate strategy was formulated between Rangers and police for crime control in the city.

Effective steps against criminal elements and violators of law were also considered and it was decided that both forces would take stringent measures to ensure maintenance of law and order in the Province and specially in Karachi.
