SSUET announces admission policy |

The Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) has announced its admission policy for the new academic year.
For admission to the first semester of the BS Programme in Electronics, Computer, Biomedical, Civil and Telecommunication Engineering and Computer Science, the minimum requirement would be HSC (Pre-Eng) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or equivalent with 55 per cent aggregate marks including 20 marks for Hifz-e-Quran.
For admission to the BS Computer Engineering and BS Computer Science programmes, the academic qualification could be HSC/Intermediate (Pre-Engineering) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Physics, Computer Science and Mathematics with 55 per cent aggregate marks including 20 marks for Hifz-e-Quran.
Admission to a DAE programme in the relevant disciplines of Engineering requires 60 per cent aggregate marks for all Engineering Programmes; DAE in any discipline requires 60 per cent aggregate marks for the Computer Science Programme.
The candidates having passed Cambridge High School Certificate Examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at Principal level or the General Certificate of Education (A Level) with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, the grades obtained in these examinations will be equated as follows:
GRADE A: 80 per cent; B: 70 per cent; C: 60 per cent; D: 50 per cent; E: 40 per cent. —APP |
