Bedrooms should actually be the place to give rest, peace and calm. Here are some essentials which one must consider while decorating and planning a bedroom.
• Bedroom should be at appropriate distance from TV lounge to avoid noise and disturbance
• One should not keep TV in the bedroom, for bedroom is to take rest.
• Proper curtains or blinds should be used to avoid light from the windows.
• Colour scheme of wall paint and beddings should be light and soothing as it really influences your behaviour. Dark and funky colours in bedroom are not supposed to give tranquil.
• Try to use a single or two hues in the walls, furnishings, bedding and other accessories to give harmony in the room. Inducing too many colours in the room create a confused impact.
• Plants are always supposed to give healing and healthy effect to human mind. Placement of indoor plants in the bedroom not only increases the décor of the room but also leaves very soothing impact.
• Do not use too many wall hangings, paintings or decoration pieces, try to keep bedroom as simple as possible.
• Manage your wardrobe properly, and do not mess up all the stuff in the bedroom.
• Proper cleaning after frequent intervals of time is very essential.
• Do not forget to keep a good air freshener in the room.
