Us se keh do' na aya kray meri mehfil men,
Us ki yaad hi kafi hay dil jlane k lye,,

Saqi aaj pilado itni k kuch khaber na rahay,
Koi gham meray pas na bhatke mujeh rulane k lye,

Dukh nahi k ab koi sath nahi raha meray,
Ab mekhana hi kafi hay mera sath nibhane k lye

Saqi yun mujeh har bar bus krnay ka na keh,
Aaj sara mekhana bhi kam hay dil ki aag bujhane k lye.
